Day 4: Family & Friends

The day began with a visit from the friend who has known me the longest. Her gift for my journey was a carry bag she made for my Nature’s Head pee canister using an old pair of her grandson’s jeans. (It was a desire of mine to have something to make bringing it into a restroom to dump every three or four days much more pleasant.) Drove about 2 hours to Connecticut for lunch with a friend, a dental visit, dinner with my ex and our daughter, and visits from witches who put more energy into the bus as the moon shown down. One of my favorite co-workers, who had owned a sign business, made signs for the bus featuring the logo designed by another wonderful woman with whom I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside.  The busy day ended on Eddy’s Farm in Newington where I was welcomed to spend the night. Miss internet access almost enough to learn to use the Facebook app on my phone and learn to use my phone as a hot spot. Miss late night shows and MSNBC, but I will finally have time to read some of the 60 or so books I have onboard. As I got under the covers, I noticed Spiderwoman spinning a web in the bookcase above my bed.
