Day 6: A day at the service center

So it seems the left front signal light is nearing the end of its life. None to be found in the area, so one was supposed to be delivered from Albany by 1, only it wasn’t. Kind owner plugged me in and is letting me spend the night in his yard. Noisy road, but safe. I wasn’t looking forward to today’s 110 mile drive, so seems the Goddess took care of that for me. Gotta love it!! Read cards for the receptionist and hung up my “Come in for a Spell” sign … we’ll see if anyone does. My friend in Willow Grove PA had to cancel because her faDay 6: Today’s exciting destination has been a service center somewhere around Poughkeepsie. I had no signals on the left side. The problem is that one of the lights is not working. None to be found in the area, so one was supposed to be delivered from Albany by 1, only it didn't make the transport. Kind owner plugged me in and is letting me spend the night in his yard until the truck arrives again tomorrow morning. Noisy road, but owner assured me I am safe here. I wasn’t looking forward to today’s 110 mile drive, so seems the Goddess took care of that for me. Gotta love it!! Read cards for the receptionist and hung up my “Come in for a Spell” sign … we’ll see if anyone does. My friend in Willow Grove PA just had to cancel because her family just announced 10+ are arriving tomorrow for five days, expecting an early Thanksgiving for which she must clean and cook. I feel bad for me, but worse for her.. Sitting here with the major attraction being passing traffic, I upgraded my Verizon plan for “just $10 more” and learned how to make my phone a hot spot. Roberto, I can hear you say, “Oh, you’ll learn.” It’s about the only thing that’s made me laugh.  Now will recalculate to get to Morrisville NC by whatever route I can.
