(Finally … yesterday’s post posted! The website was down.)
Ringing in the new decade (another Roaring ’20s?) with a skoolie community has been full of blessings. Today my leaking light covers were removed and replaced correctly. I will return in a dozen days for a list of other fixes as well as getting solar panels installed on the roof. And at an upcoming Skoolie Swarm, I hope to get two more projects done. Those investments should pretty much free me to stay off the grid for periods of time.


At the suggestion of a sister, I pulled two more Runes and three tarot cards. 
Change and freedom are the theme of the Runes. Hagalaz/Disruption/The Great Awakener indicates I have a strong need to break free from identifying with the material world. The more severe the disruption coming into my life, the more significant and timely it is for my growth. The universe and my own soul are demanding that I do, indeed, grow. Per Urus/Strength/Womanhood, I get that I will be tested. Whoopie. There will be a rite of passage into life on the road. It’s going to require shaping and forcing good fortune out of what could be unfortunate circumstances … remember to do it creatively through will and inspiration. 2020 will continue to be a time of self-healing, and I should focus on both my mental and physical health. The year will require strength and tenacity, courage and persistence against all odds … yet the Rune also indicates I will claim my own space, and with it independence and freedom (or “Daisy” for those who knew me before I left ... the reason for the tattoo on my left hand). The silver lining is Gebo indicating the formation of a partnership or relationship is at hand (the skoolie community, I would think). The Rune’s biggest gift is that I am able to see the Divine in all things, and from that place will flow all other gifts.


Looking at the cards, the drama queen dies. A painful time is drawing to a close. Those swords are there for me to use to protect myself, to cut through bullshit, to strategize. Get up and be the maiden (Daisy = Maiden), remembering her wisdom to look within because that’s where the magic is. And really, it’s about time I stopped second-guessing my instincts and intuition. Paying more attention to the moon would be beneficial as I delve deeper into The WOW. The Queen of Wands is me on fire with lots of energy, enthusiasm and passion … and some fun … look at her starting to smile.
