Day 89: Life at Grady's
I am spending yet another day in the customer lounge at Grady’s. Today I’m trying to read an awesome book about connecting with plants, “The Witch’s Herbal Apothecary,” that I am reviewing for PaganPages ... while sitting next to a plastic tree. I have 48 hours to finish and Fox News on the television on my left is quite distracting. Customers coming and going, the bell, the scanner, the dog, the road noise are all distracting me today. I still have no idea when my transmission work will be done. Not even a hint of whether it could be Friday or if it will be next week. I journaled out a lot of anger last night, and tonight Jennifer is coming for a pity party featuring Strega and chips (correction: frozen yogurt and kahlúa) as she spends an overnight parked in the lot before continuing on her route in the morning.
