DAY 256: Battle Scars and Magick

Today, the friends I was with four days ago and I planned to meet at a particular location, but it turned out there was no room for Karma in the parking lot. As I attempted to take a tight right turn back onto the street, I again misjudged my turning radius and my back passenger tire jumped the curb and came in contact with a solid metal object. The picture shows the minimal damage to my bus. A serious scrape, a missing reflector and two sharp points.

All I could think of is if I had been driving an RV, I would have totally destroyed the rear end, turning it into fiberglas shards and most likely killing the tire … instead of driving away (after stopping and checking to see if anyone wanted my license and registration).

Except for that, the rest of the day was a magickal visit with Jennifer, the editor of Pagan Pages, and her husband, Ben. When I texted her to say I would meet them at another location, she began to read the message to Ben, and as she said “Lynn,” Ben noticed my bus passing them in the other direction. Later, as they were taking me back to my skoolie, Ben stopped at their house to drop off perishables and an Amazon package had just been delivered. It was a deck of tarot cards Jennifer had ordered after I gave her my “Learn To Read Tarot Cards In Five Minutes” spiel on Day 253 when we also spent the afternoon and evening together … for which there was no blog entry primarily because we again forgot to take selfies. Bringing the deck on the bus, she showed us the cards. After looking through them, she began giving readings. Good ones, too!

Tonight I am at home in a Walmart parking lot. It’s raining and I have all the power turned off. I packed ice into containers and put them in the refrigerator, and it’s warm enough I won’t need the quartz heater. All the food I bought does not need cooking, so I’m all set. Dinner was crab salad and two cucumbers. Midnight snack will most likely be half a pint of Rebel ice cream. NOTE: If you are counting carbs, this is THE ice cream to get!
