DAY 280: Attending to Anxiety
I fell into 24/7 election coverage, and when I tried to sleep, there was a nearly full moon shining on the bed. Carbs were allowed last night. Today, with a nap, a shower in the outdoor room, Biden’s path to victory looking a lot more possible, and some time in the hammock swing I bought for the homestead, life is looking good again ... especially because I decided to get up from the swing just in time to see Pye's head and chest pop out the window where the air conditioning vent became loose. There are many butterflies, dogs offering their butts for scratching, flowers still blooming, and a fire tonight to welcome new people to the camp.
I held a full moon ritual October 31 that most everyone at the camp attended, and am planning to hold a dumb supper for astrological Samhain.
The following weekend, if the weather is nice, I hope to make the 200-mile drive to Ocolla, Florida to meet other skoolies. Is anyone in that area?
