Day 103: Blessings in Disguise

Installing my bigger, better transmission reached the test drive stage this morning, 37 days since I limped my skoolie into Interstate Truck and Trailer. The tale of twists, turns and unforeseens is still being written. Starting up the bus, the mechanic noticed a leak in my fuel line. Somewhere, sometime in the life of this bus, someone worked on this piece. It was nicked, and sometime it began to leak, spraying diesel fuel on the exhaust … which gets very hot … and which would have caught fire. Without question, I was told. As I post this, a new piece is being bent, cut and installed so testing the transmission can resume.  My gut is still churning as I feel blessings surrounding me.
