Day 148: River Watching
So grateful for an unexpected afternoon of sunshine. I needed to be on a flat surface so I could shower, so I went to a big parking lot by the Connecticut River, hung some fabric and had a hot shower, with the sun quickly replacing the energy I used for the hot water heater and the water pump. I drip dried quickly because it warm in the bus despite taping screens on two windows ... which Pye tried to remove. My gray water tank has not been draining, and a friend who came by to practice social distancing called her handyman who said he’d come look at it after work. So I spent the day watching the water and the clouds, soaking up some sun and continuing the practice of six or more feet as I got more visits from friends. But, the handyman lost track of time, and it got late and I got cranky, so we’ll meet tomorrow when he gets out of work.
