Day 200: So Much

It’s Monday … nothing like the ones I dreaded after a weekend off from work. I am relaxed and glowing from a two-hour medically necessary massage by Don at bodysolutionsllc.com in Rocky Hill. His hands worked out so many knots and blocks, No fluffy bunny soft massage strokes, but grips and pressure on points that convinced everything to relax. After three months without a massage, I was floating. I walked up the steps to his office leading with my right foot and bringing my left up to meet it before taking the next step with my right foot, etc. I walked down one foot per step – no pain anywhere. Nor still, 10 hours later.

The scent of spring is drifting through the screens, mingling with the heady, sweet scent of lilacs from the third and most fragrant bouquet I picked in the yard at which I am staying. I have long had a love affair with lilacs. As a child, one of the first magickal places I found was the stand of lilacs at the back corner of the house. I always felt safe in the small opening in its center where I had tea parties with the fairies. When I smell them, I swoon back to those days when I first discovered portals to other realms, although it was decades before I knew what they were.

In the past two days I also received four unexpected gifts that are so “me” words cannot express my joy and gratitude.

Well past the witching hour, Karma is lit by only this screen and the spell candles on the altar. Soon all will be extinguished and I will stretch out on the bed under light covers and listen to the sound of wind chimes on the porch as I drift off to sleep.
