June13 2:40am Mountains & Musings

Taking Karma out for her weekly drive Friday, I went to the grocery store and continued on to Wellington State Park. The views were spectacular, but I have no photos to show you. There is no view from the parking lot that was farther from the beach than I wanted to walk. I went over one mountain to get there and another to get back home. More great views that could not get captured. It felt good to be driving. It’s like I missed her more than I knew. We had spent six months together and that strong energy I always felt felt empty.

I am continuing the love spell I began months ago, but in a much abbreviated version because of its intensity and available space. The altars in my room call for attention as do the objects I brought in from the bus. Deadlines for PaganPages also call for attention. The hammock chair wins most all the time. It’s a physical representation of the in-between times going on within me as I wait for a clue about what to do next, where and when. In the mean time I am feeling comfortable, although I could be watching too much news and pulling too few tarot cards.

This is posted so late because of the time spent watching news reruns, swinging in the chair, getting a midnight snack and the WiFi not working.
