The Witch on Wheels

Day 230: WOW x 2

Rebecca Rose and her van were parked behind my skoolie on a gentleman’s farm in eastern New Hampshire for two days while we got to see the full moon at night and the making of a runway during the day. The accommodations were much nicer than when last we camped in the parking lot of garage in northern Florida.

There’s nothing like witches getting together for a full moon with no one filling the role of chaperone, but rather everyone giving permission to explore the wildest-sounding ideas – or to do nothing at all.

Today we drove about 15 miles to a host in the woods. We were content to catch up on work on a cloudy day when we knew we’d never see the sun or the moon if we went to the beach, so that’s been moved back yet again.

It blows me away to think she and I are so different in so many ways, and so very much alike in others. It’s now the magick works. The two of us brought together because of a mutual friend, and now we’re both living as much as possible on the road as witches on wheels. And we’re together in our third coven, virtual this time, with a group who live near one another gathering for rituals. I’m learning lots watching this young witch build a curriculum that can be the foundation for a new tradition she is sure to lead.
