Friday, October 8: On the Road Again

There was much packing, and hauling, and cleaning – mostly with angry knees and conflicting emotions.

At 12:58pm I left my summer home for the adventures that await as I make my way south. About a third of the trees are turning brilliant colors, reminding me change can be beautiful and that it’s lovely to let things go. The mountains are already looking smaller.

The new brake pedal return spring is taking some getting used to – it feels like I won’t stop, or I push too hard and everything from the back of the bus slides to the front. Another 100 miles and I will have the right feel.

Right now, Pye is curled up in a box on the counter, snoring, and I’m ready to crash on the bed. Thank you for following along. Hope to see some of you on the way to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. If there are pagan festivals, public sabbat gatherings, magical places, wonderful stores, labyrinths, or places to boondocks by the water you would like to share, please PM me.
