DAY 555: Goddess Oracle
Greetings. It’s amazing how much day there is when you get up at 8am instead of 11am, which is when I sat down to write this.
I began pulling a goddess amulet every morning, reading about it, and following along with the suggested ritual, modifying it as needed. Yesterday I pulled Sprouting Seed / New Beginnings. (To the left of the pile … and confusing until I figured out I’d been holding it upside down.) It called for me to review my goals and expectations, making adjustments as needed, and to trust the mystery. I was to make a green plant the center of my altar and gather close friends to sit in circle with me, sharing words of wisdom to help me with my personal growth. That got flipped to me reading through the collection of quotes in my Book of Wisdom and journalling long into the night.
I thought that perhaps I am not the only one who would benefit from the same words, so below are some of the passages I found. As with everything, take what you need and leave the rest.
Today I pulled the Whirlwinds / Trusting the Invisible amulet. It makes perfect sense. I am pleased I retrieved their pouch from one of my two baskets filled with divination tools.
If you would like me to pull an amulet for you and take pictures of the pages from the book that go with it, you can message me or email me at lynn@thewitchonwheels.com. My hands are tingling in anticipation.
Trust the wait.
Embrace the uncertainty.
Enjoy the beauty of becoming.
When nothing is certain,
anything is possible.
Every next level of your life will
demand a different version of you.
Like wildflowers you must allow
yourself to grow in all the places
people thought you never would.
The journey between who you once
were and who you are now becoming
is where the dance of life takes place.
To get something you’ve never had, you
have to do something you’ve never done.
We must always change,
renew, rejuvenate ourselves;
otherwise we harden.
-Johann von Goethe
A ship in harbor is safe, but that
is not what ships are built for.
-John Shedd
Once you realize that the road is the goal and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal, but to enjoy its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and become natural and simple, in itself an ecstasy. -Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
