DAY 447: Day Trip

Today Karma went in for her annual check up at Ultimate Auto in Cromwell, CT. That trip cost $763 because I scored a $30 discount for being friends with Diane and Linda who sent me there last year, where they have been going for decades. 

Getting up before 8am was tough, but spending the day with Diane was wonderful. Breakfast thanks to Mario, stoping along the Connecticut River, and ending at the Sound. Afterwards, my daughter and I went grocery shopping and celebrated Derek Chauvin’s three guilty verdicts. 

Now that I am “back home” I have been meeting up with friends and family. II had my first of four medical massages yesterday to address all my aches and pains. It was one of those that hurt and burnt as problem areas were poked and pressed. I also had lunch outdoors with my cousin Debbie Lynn. All the while, my computers spent the day in a shop for multiple problems. I got to take home the new MacBook Air that is in need of more memory, while the old MacBook Pro with the broken screen that’s unable to boot up is staying there until Thursday when I get some options and prices … on my way to a dentist appointment and my second massage. It will be another day trip.
