DAY 434: Family Reunion (4/7)

This afternoon was an absolutely wonderful family reunion, thanks to my talented sister who loves to cook as much as she loves her family. I picked up my dad who is 15 minutes away. We had hors d’oeuvres on the deck in the warm sun, then a lunch of beef stew over noodles with a side of green beans in the dining table. Back out on the deck, we told stories, soaked up more sun, and finished the last of the Mexican Wedding Cake cookies my sister had made for Christmas. (That prompted her to take down the Christmas wreath still on my dad’s door when we brought him home.) Then, even though she is going in for surgery tomorrow, my sister made me keto brownies with nuts. (This is after having made keto crackers we first had last night with the martini.) That’s love.
The reason this is posting so late is I got caught up in answering questions for someone interviewing me for her local paper. I am much more comfortable asking the questions. LoL!! More on that soon.
