JUNE 10: Back Home

In some ways, it’s like I never left. I am instantly grounded when I arrive at the gate, held among mountains now a lush green. The bedroom takes me all the way back to the condo in Connecticut and My Other Life that lasted some dozen years, There were at least four other “lives” I’ve lived this time around. “Chapters” is probably more correct and less dramatic, even though each life was a drastic change from the preceding one. Just as this one was.

Finding the connector I need to get photos from my phone to my laptop is what had been holding up a post.

I sit in my hammock chair and watch butterflies, a sapphire blue sky, daisies swaying in the breeze, birds, horses, goats, and sunsets. My list of Things That Need To Get Done is growing, but I have no ambition. That seems to happen whenever I land in a place I know I will be for a while. Perhaps it’s a coping technique.

This dark moon in Gemini calls for something creative, and the idea others have planted and watered is about to bud. The effort to make video posts, start a blog from Karma’s point of view, begin making the denim crazy quilt, or putting a new elastic waist in two skirts just got pushed aside to begin writing Pye’s Perspective. (It needs a better name. Please put your suggestions below.) I’m giving myself until the full moon to get it off the ground.
