August 25 (posted after midnight) It's Been a Day

It’s been a day. No adjectives. Hot and humid. Highs and lows. Stress and dog healing therapy. Meditations and conflicting emotions. The short story is the day began with unvaccinated individuals asked to not attend an event. Lots of emotions. I meditated until I was calm and knew everything is happening just as spirit planned.

Then came bus problems. As I have done too many times, when I turned off the bus a few days ago after assuring it would start, I forgot to put my foot under the brake pedal and lift it up the last half inch. That left the brake lights on, and I don’t see them at the back of the bus in daylight. When I went down to drive to the service center, the battery was dead. Jumping it with a truck and a booster battery started Karma, but she stopped once the air brake warning went off. At 2pm I called AAA; at 8pm a super wrecker arrived because, after all, I am in the middle of nowhere with an odd vehicle. I had to triple bungie cord her door closed because once the back end was lifted off the ground, the door lock didn’t line up. It was delivered to the only place that assured me it could and wanted to do the job, thankfully close by. I will get charged $105 for them to evaluate the bus even though the only problem found during inspection were the king pins. Why believe an inspector?

I meditated again about 3pm at which time I fell asleep. Journalling after I said goodbye to Karma, I found myself playing with a words and a name clicked. My new pendulum liked it. I have never had a magical name, so this is exciting. I will see how it percolates over the next few days. Yep. It’s been a day.

Wishing you delightful dreams under the still bright moon.
