August 27: Tag Sale Treasures
Today I was chauffeured around Andover’s town wide tag sale by Michael. It was my idea of a great date. I walked away from most lawns, driveways, and buildings without buying anything. It’s not like I need much, but the hunt thrills me. The picture is of my purchases, several of which will be given to others. I think I spent a total of $21 and that included donations to two local causes. The troll doll, pillow cover, two little boxes for spells, and the railroad spikes were my favorite finds. Someday, I want to attend to the World’s Longest Tag Sale, running 690 miles from Addison, MI to Gadsden, AL each August. I’d have to add a hitch, though, to pull a trailer.
