Altho this is posting on Saturday, the photos are from Friday. I was looking to get to the ocean, but was satisfied with what I could get. I got a late start because Officer Friendly banged on my window and informed me at 1:30am there was no camping in the parking lot, and pointed to the left where I would come upon a Walmart. Then when I got to the state park with the beach, I was told the bus would most likely not make it on some of the roads, so I ended up by the boat launch for a sunset that didn’t quite happen. A bowl of shells cost me dozens of tiny sand fly bites all over my body. And tonight I’m at another Walmart tonight. I had this great plan for getting to sleep early and setting the alarm for 6am, to get to a park when it opens at 8am. Considering that is just five hours away, I need another plan.
