DAY 884: Christmas Angels
My first angel was the park ranger who arrived at sunrise, waking me up, and bringing a breakfast sandwich his wife had made along with a bottle of orange juice.
Captain Bob, who has been checking on my since yesterday, was right behind to make sure I didn’t need anything. While I did my goddess devotion, Angel #2 read his scripture. Then he came over and I made us coffee, heard stories of amazing treasure sunk off the coast, and took a walk on the beach.
Upon returning, I met Brad. My bumper stickers prompted him to seek my opinion about something he had just found. Of course, it’s now eight hours later that I think of wise woman words. After learning his gifts included being able to locate items for other people, he became Angel #3. I invited him to come back, because Nat and Don, Angels #4 and #5 arrived with Chinese Christmas Dinner.
After eating, we three went over the skoolie together again but found no key. Brad returned and the four of us got deep into discussions until the park was about to close. Brad searched, but did not find, and Angel #1 stopped by to see if I needed anything.
After another walk on the beach, I again sought Hecate’s help, and left an offering for the fae in the spot four individuals “saw” my keys.
Pye is soaking up all the heat by lying exactly where the diesel heater vents, so I will crawl under the covers and try to dream of keys before Angels #4 and #5 return in the morning to put in a new ignition and lock cylinder.
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all, a good night.”
