Day 634: Skoolie Swarm, Day 5

Shanti is credited with the quote, “And at the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.” 

That has been every day so far that I’ve been here. 

This swarm feels like a family reunion and a festival rolled into one. Good vibes are everywhere.

I survived my birthday, that was yesterday. It felt surreal, with 2/22/22 being on a “twos day” and all. 

My battery power is low for some reason, and the fridge is not cooling properly … but the bus started again today, and a mechanic assured me it’s not the starter or the alternator, but most likely just a loose wire. A $1,000 loose wire … which will make a great story someday. Right now I think I’m going back out to the fire where a circle of friends have gathered yet again.
