DAY 636: Skoolie Swarm, Day 7

Another hot, sunny, cloudless day in Melrose, FL. Took Norm’s “taxi” into town to do food shopping and restock at the liquor store. More visiting. Prepared dishes for evening meal. I got my “Bus Badges” — one for everything I’ve hit while driving the bus (not counting the three things that have hit me). 

I love Karma to pieces and can’t imagine not having her as my home, but for travels, I have fallen in love with Nellie, a 4-window bus driven by a solo woman about my age but who is much more experienced.

I am low on battery charge for some reason, so shutting down the power early. From the bed I can hear the drumming down by the lake and voices around the fire behind my back door. 

I so don’t want this event to end.
