DAY 662: Hammock Chair
I now have a happy place inside my happy place. The chair I sat in for some 200 rituals, before and after the skoolie, became Pye’s scratching post and travel route from one counter top to another. I have wanted a hammock chair in here since the start, and today Brett installed it. There are three hooks so I can face the counter where I work and eat, and then move to face forward and back. I am giddy. I missed my nap trying to chase down lost vehicle registration checks and my bus title, but I think I will be sleeping in it for at least part of tonight. As you may remember me saying about the one in my New Hampshire bedroom and the porch here at the skoolie homestead lodge, when I am in it with feet up, ungrounded, I easily slip between the worlds. And my Pisces loves loves loves it. This smile might get stuck on my face.
