DAY 683: Sad To Be Leaving

This small gathering was the first time some of the nomads had found community and it was so heartwarming to see a group largely comprised of strangers become pretty much instant family. Telling tales of travels was common in the circles that formed morning, afternoon, and evening. Places, resources, interior modifications, lessons learned, music, food, and crafts were also shared. No matter who was present, the vibes were warm and welcoming. So accustomed to solo living, meeting others who live on the road was affirming. So many experiences had been shared by others, helping weave a web of understanding and acceptance. You could feel waves of strength and freedom and joy. Some moments reminded me of times in magickal circles.

Today I spent washing up, packing up, and catching up with a woman who, when we met, formed an instant mutual admiration society.

I loved seeing green fields from all my windows, walking barefoot every day, having a beautiful view of the moon, and time for R&R.

Another adventure begins tomorrow, with biscuits and gravy and a 100-mile drive followed by a 25 mile drive to stay at a truck stop.

Can’t you feel that coming full moon?! Sleep is getting difficult.
