DAY 686: "Signs, signs, everywhere a sign"

Today I ran into “closed” signs at two Maryland beaches and and one park. I finally found one tiny, rather sad little beach (pictured) and parked on the road. The weather was cold and windy, so I didn’t stay long. Right now I am parked in Annapolis by a park open 24 hours in a lot that is free overnight, if I understood the signs. And that’s a big if because I was too busy trying to maneuver 30 feet of bus around tight corners to read all the fine print. My knees are too cranky to walk back and see, so I’m enjoying the water view from the bedroom window, getting to see the moon rising.

I stayed up past the witching hour (which this witch considers 3am) the last two nights making spell bottles. I am hoping to get to sleep earlier tonight, perhaps giving up the next intention and snuggling under the blankets and watching the moon. It’s 48 degrees now, dropping to 40. Shutting down sooner will save fuel for the heater and solar power - both which I will need tomorrow when it rains most all day. Hmmmmm. I pulled the Wheel of Fortune card. And I remembered I have some paperwork to complete that’s long overdue, and a followup survey about my hip surgery. Too much to do at night when I’ve done not much of anything all day. LoL!
