DAY 694: Home Away From Home

I stopped to say goodbye to Prasant before I left. He’s promised he’ll cook me a traditional meal when I return. And I will, as long as I don’t have to climb Bear Mountain. Never again! To get an idea of what it’s like, here’s a video to watch. As you do, keep in mind I’m doing this in a 33-year-old, 30-foot bus with bad shocks and I’m afraid of heights to the point I get dizzy.

I landed at one of my two homes on the road, a coven sister’s driveway, and made dinner for us and my daughter, who starts her dream job tomorrow.

Back in Jesup, Georgia this weekend, my white wicker chair was burned, as it was what I sat in to do magic for more than a dozen years. It was as sacred as any object on my altar. When the hammock chair went in, the wicker chair had to go. I left before taking it to a fire, so it was burned for me. I was told it burned hot and fast. And how fitting it was that the chair was in a circle within a circle within a circle. That’s a magickal place from which to transform energy.
