DAY 573: Last Night On The Road
I left East Windsor, CT today and am almost at the New Hampshire border. I stopped to see my bestie Leandra, and am staying In The Meadow Farm Alpacas, a mere three minutes down the street from her. Great to know for the next visit, altho I discovered I can park in her driveway and turn around without hitting the garage or the old air conditioner. And look who pushed the locked doors open AGAIN. I had placed the cat litter and my herb bag on the bottom step, but not strategically enough. Once he gets out, he can't get back in. I am too grateful he stayed near the doors again, and I listened to my intuition and left a bit earlier than I had planned. I'm happy I'll get a break while on the farm to figure out what to try next.
I am exhausted tonight and about to sleep with the sun, partly from not enough sleep the last two nights, and partly from the driving all these twisty, turning, hilly back roads that are New England. I think the longest stretch I drove without making a turn was just under eight miles out of the 93.
Last night I burned remains from many altars, pulled these cards for my Litha reading, and heard the last airplane I expect to hear for a while. Starting before sunset and going until midnight, those planes were constantly flying low on their approach to Bradley Field. This was also my last East Windsor sunset.
Tomorrow I will drive the last 105 miles home, where I plan to veg for as long as possible before having to deal with such issues as finding out why the transmission fluid drains out of the Ford Focus. The answer will determine if it gets fixed or junked.
