JUNE 25, Saturday: Home Again

I landed at the farm Thursday about 5pm, sore, tired, and drained. Crossing the border into New Hampshire and seeing the mountains lifted my spirits. So did stopping at the state liquor store. I relocated as much food, clothes, daily items and such as I could manage before moving the bus to the bottom of the driveway, but there's more I still have to do. There was cleaning and organizing to settle in, and likewise, still more to do after nine months away. There were new pets to meet, including Rea. Cell service is pretty much nil, but I have a television and an air conditioner that help make up for that. My morning routine fits easily in bedroom living, and I signed up for a subscription for local flowers from the farm across the street. The old Ford Focus may soon be running again, if in fact it's only the transmission hoses that need replacing, and I'm looking forward to the farmer's market tomorrow to see what local produce is in season.

I have several readings to catch up on, some vegetables and herbs to plant, and my work for pagan pages, so the magic will be finding the perfect blend between lazy and productive. Hopefully the big solstice kick that knocked me off center has eased for you as well as me.
