DAY 905: Also Missing

It’s now been 24 days since my keys went missing. It’s been seven days that I’ve been digging in every box and drawer for the blank cards left over from Yule. I am making a version of it as a witchcraft for Ostara in a column I write for PaganPages. Well, I’m still hoping to.
This morning after my daily practice, I asked goddess to find my cards for me, to show me my cards. Somewhere in the middle of today’s search, I found myself holding a box with “The Witches’ Wisdom Tarot,” by Phyllis Curott and realizes I hadn’t used it in a while and I missed it. So I kept it out and continued my search … under the bed, under the shelving, under the refrigerator, above the bed. No luck.
Then I heard the goddess laughing and had to laugh along. Yep! “The Witches’ Wisdom Tarot” was indeed cards. That’s what comes of not specifying what kind of cards I wanted her to find for me.
It ended up Robin and I each drew three cards, then pulled another three from her dragon oracle deck. Not only were they accurate for each of us, pull from the two decks complemented each other. And blank greeting cards are added to my list of missing items, that also includes an earring, a hairbrush, a triple goddess ring, and a “bun maker” to pull up my hair.
Tonight around sunset, I got to see the speck of SpaceX’s three-core Falcon Heavy launch from Kennedy Space Center. While it was like a distant star and then a meteor with a tail, while the two side boosters returning to earth as the military payload continued on into space.
It’s an early-to-bed night due to too few hours of sleep last night, and because of the cold. It’s the third consecutive night in the 30s, with one more in the forecast before daytime temperatures return to the 80s and the nights stay in the 60s.
