Blessed full moon in Cancer. Robin, who has given her driveway up to Karma, is a witch. She, a friend, and I went to the beach to see the full moon, briefly chatting with two witches already there.

And, the woman who checked me out at Lowe’s (new smoke detector, battery powered lantern, batteries it turned out I didn’t need, and seed packets for a PaganPages craft column) this morning was a witch as well. We exchanged hugs and blessings.

Robin and I both have crystals and other objects charging in the moonlight. We pulled cards from two of her oracle decks, and I am about to finish making three protection charms.

It has gotten late, so this is where I leave you tonight.

Oh, wait! Not before mentioning I made two shell wind chimes yesterday, working primarily at Avalon Beach. I brought my chair down to the water, letting the waves wash over my feet. I kept reaching down to pick up shells that were deposited by my chair, including this beautiful whelk. I now have a box overflowing with shells I’ve collected that I will give away at the Skoolie Swarm next month, along with a growing number of sticks that are begging to be wands.
