DAY 1120: Freezing in Fishkill

I left the family farm this morning, and encountered snow squalls on my way to Fishkill, NY, which is the only place I will cross the Hudson River. It's going down to 28 degrees tonight, and tomorrow's high will be 47 as I continue south to a service plaza in Pennsylvania where it will again drop below freezing. With luck, I can stay at a candy factory and plug in Friday night.
It was four years ago today I officially launched. November 1 is generally considered New Year's Day for witches ... making it an auspicious day for work to begin on Karmalita!!!
