DAY 1132: Dead Battery

So ... when I pulled into a Cracker Barrel in Concord NC just before sunset last night, I forgot to turn off my lights. (Cuz I "never" use them cuz I "never" drive at night.) Since 11am I have been trying to get a jump, tow, battery, something ... AAA couldn't jump it and won't tow. Many calls later, I found a nice local service shop owner who found a battery and will bring it here tomorrow afternoon. Total will come to about $400. Then I will have it out with AAA. Again.

I can't slide my battery back into its place. And I have no idea where to go tomorrow late afternoon ... and I won't be getting little solar power because of clouds and rain moving this way. Saying positive is a challenge. But I'm up for it.

Can't help but chuckle cuz it's the dark moon in Scorpio today and Scorpio is all about death and rebirth. This moon strips you bare and forces you to give up attachments ... and take responsibility for your own condition. Yup! That's about right.

I am in a safe place. I have you sending love and protection. I have a credit card. Pye is happy not to be traveling. I have food. I have a bottle of pre-mixed margaritas. All will be well.
