DAY 945: Dirty Hippie & Decisions

Going barefoot keeps me grounded, but at the cost of filthy feet forever. Between that and the heat (upper 80s) I am longing for a few days in a hotel to wash the road off of me.

I am still struggling with getting enough solar power, and grateful that Brett brought his generator over to try to top off my battery the last two afternoons. This morning I moved to a spot that gets full sun in the hopes I won’t need it again, and that I won’t have to turn off power during the night.

The decisions are if I detour to make two visits, or go straight to Jesup … and if I go straight to Jesup, do I pull a long ass day of driving or split it in two … and if I do two, what beach can I hit for a few hours? Then there is the issue of the Dometic. It’s not selling, so it occurred to me that I’m not supposed to sell it … but to reinstall it so I can go back to living on 12v for part of the day and just about all night.

Meanwhile, my PaganPages deadlines are looming …
