DAY 924: This and That
Today’s post is primarily photos I have taken during the past several days (find them on my FB page) … and a brief explanation of tomorrow’s moon that will be full in the sign of Leo. Those with Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus astrological signs will feel it the most. It will bring about unexpected – but good – new things, according to Atlanta astrologer Donna Page.
This full moon is connected with Uranus, the planet that tends to throw you for a loop. Things won’t always go as you expect, so there will be some drama, excitement, and intrigue. Leo’s fiery energy is good for a confidence boost.
According to astrology expert Imani Quinn, retrograde season is over and planets are moving direct until spring. Leo is a sign known for expression, creativity, and shining bright. “So it's kind of like this fresh restart, and a time to take full advantage of the planets giving us the green light to move forward,” she explains, adding, “And we really haven't had this kind of similar moment since 2019 – through most of the pandemic, we've been in a lot of retrograde turmoil.” Leo’s influence will lessen fears of letting go that which no longer serves us. For an additional kick, try writing down what you’d like to release, folding each slip of paper away from you, and burning them under the moonlight. If it’s raining, as is expected here, try putting out a clean glass bowl to catch Leo-charged water for use in spells and rituals.
Today, sitting on a deserted, windy beach, the sky to my north was blue with fluffy white clouds; the sky to my south was gray and foreboding. I sat between the two, the wind gusting, the surf pounding. It cleared my mind of everything.
Unpacking beat up cardboard boxes and resorting items into an abundance of plastic bins is also helping to clear my mind of clutter. As within so without. Yep. It's true.
