DAY 980: March for Trans and Queer Youth

It's been a long time since I've attended a march, and although my knees are throbbing at the moment, I am energized for having gone with Barbara King to the Savannah Trans and Queer Youth Rights March. Hundreds of us gathered in Forsyth Park in support of trans and queer rights as part of a national movement for Transgender Day of Visibility. Organizers spoke out against the passing of SB 140 that denies children and teens most transition-related medical care.

Here are some photos I took.

If you catch the short clip on the local news, you will see a part of me on the right in the last frame.

The day ended with dinner on the deck of Barbara's skoolie.
