DAY 953: Not What I Wanted

I am driving 165 miles to get to the Skoolie Homestead today. A long drive for me, especially since I (a) can only got 42mph at best, (b) have not driven that far in one day since November and (c) had a tooth pulled the other day. And that is what’s prompting today’s message: Not getting what you want can be the best thing for you.

I was offered a car to drive to an emergency dental appointment after part of my canine tooth broke off. Only when I went to get the keys, the car was gone. I begin figuring how fast I could secure the bus for travel – not what I wanted to do. Then Mary, the goddesswoman I’d met at the swarm, said she’d drive me in her van. That turned out to be the best thing for me. I didn’t have to deal with filling prescriptions, navigating my way, or the throbbing in my mouth. Divine intervention. It makes me giddy.

I’ll let you know if there’s anything I didn’t want to happen today that turned out better than planned.

Have a wonderful weekend.
