Tonight I revived a few parts of my Day 704 post "The Donation Story."

When taking on the mantle of crone in 2014, I pledged to serve the Goddess. I am getting by financially, so I am in a position to do readings, healings, and gifting for the joy of it. At festivals, with a huge variety of items being offered, I am happy not to be involved with the financial portion. I don’t put prices on anything.

Money is energy. Everything is energy. The buying and selling of an item creates an energy. Approaching the exchange more as a gifting and a donation makes for a more pleasing energy. For me. Being able to give is a blessing. For me. I mean, this IS all about me doing what I want to do. It’s as if croning freed me.

I never want someone to forego something they need because of money. If all you’ve got to spend is $2, and you pick up something and can’t put it down, if you’re meant to have it, then $2 it is.

I don’t want to see, I don’t need to see, what is put in the gold box holding a sigil, a large key that's been charmed, a few coins, and a few dollars. Money that is put in covers expenses with the rest going into a special savings account to pay forward my next magickal needs, continuing the energy flow.
