October 20: I Said Good-bye

As the sun set, I sat on Karma to reminisce about our years together and to say good-bye. It was after that I learned she is not leaving for North Carolina tomorrow as planned.  I spent time yesterday and today sorting through her drawers, baskets, and bins. Bits of this and that will be sent here and there, but most of what's in bags and bins are personal items to be integrated onto Karmalita when I get some overhead storage (that I'm sure is not going to hold half of what I took). I was getting overwhelmed so I kicked back for the night.
