Since driving out of the maintenance facility on December 20, I have been parked in the driveway of one of my besties from high school. Lisa and I haven't been in touch in decades. We caught up on the highlights of each other's lives and have been hanging out – breakfast here, a movie there, thrift stores, restaurants, the beach, martinis, delivery, lobster tails, and lots of laughter and hugs. We celebrated the solstice beginning with lighting candles as the sun set on the Gulf of Mexico.

I continued by programming clear quartz crystals and a few rose quartz hearts using herbs, crystals, "Mother Water," and the returning light. My intention was to charge them with love, peace, harmony, and joy so as I distribute them to people or leave them in places, they will serve as "points of light" in what can be a dark, difficult world. I am looking for a source for lots more small raw crystals points – a rock shop or a gem show, because those sold in metaphysical shops for $1-$4 each are not in my price range.

I plan to be here until January 3, when I have reservations at Dinner Island Ranch somewhere around Clewiston, FL, about two and a half hours away. I am meeting up with van life friends Mary and Ed. We'll spend 13 days there and hopefully be able to plan a trip together along the Gulf coast and beyond.
