February 1: I Have a Problem
Yesterday I sorted my collection of tarot and oracle decks, happy that I managed to put those I wanted to bring on Karmalita into one of the nine large bins that will fit under the long counter (four others of which are already filled). Well, that was not counting the little bin containing my most frequently used decks. I filled the wire basket with decks I will gift or sell. Then just as I was falling asleep, I remembered there were two more small bins stashed in the back of the clothes closet with special decks: two that are out of print, still sealed, and collectors' items; backups to two special decks; plus others I bought but have not yet used. This morning I found another deck in the bookshelf. Keep in mind, I have not yet found a place where any small bins will fit on Karmalita – including those holding personal care items, meds, kitchen tools, candles, crafts, and first aid supplies. All proof I am not one of those less-is-more folks, and therein lies a painful purging problem because I have already given away more than a dozen decks since packing up the condo.
PS: Blessing to those celebrating Imbolc today. I am collaborating with a skoolie witch sister to plan a ritual for Sunday, which is astrological Imbolc.
