February 21: Roller Coaster of a Day

I have no desire to relive today, but I do want to say my gratitude practice was kicked into action with synchronicity stretching back to February 1, 2020. That was the day I limped Karma, with her blown transmission, into a garage in Live Oak, Florida and met this woman who drove her semi in a few minutes later. The connection was instant and strong; we've been fast friends ever since. Had that not happened, I never would be holding up my Florida driver's license, just one day before my New Hampshire one expires.

There's a lot that happened on the way to get the license. And to register Karmalita. I wish how I'd taken a snapshot of the plate because an hour later, I was back at the DMV. They'd rescinded my registration because my vin number and milage was sworn to by a sheriff using the form that changed January 1 (Another story.)and the state would not accept it.

But for an hour, I was on top of the world. Then I crashed on the three hour drive to my new home with Jennifer. (There's more to the story, but it's maybe for another time.) But I can tell you that I let go of a lot of anger, and surrendered my revenge to the goddess to take care of on the drive, and I'm back to being grateful.

Just in time to crash into my 70th birthday. (Which is the same day as my younger sister's birthday. Happy Birthday Barbara.)
