March 22: There's No Place Like Home

It's my fourth night on Karmalita and it feels like home. I absolutely ecstatic to have the hammock suspending me between the worlds. Two things are left to finalize, decisions still need to be made about what to leave behind, and Rain is going to finish the mural she began today on my closet doors.

There were more people on Karmalita for the open skoolie party than were ever on Karma. The Carmalita bars Tori made, and the magic bars by Elaine were big hits. I ended up with most all the candy eggs.

Pye transitioned to this bus very well after everyone left. He's been relaxed and curious until today when I drove a short distance from the work area to where Karma is parked. There was no beeping when backing up Karma, so that noise scared him and I feel bad because there are few places for him to hide. The felt dome and the new Amazon box are being shunned. Tomorrow is a fuel run which may stress him out, but it will test everything I have mounted with magnets, Gorilla Mounting Putty, and heavy duty double sided tape.

I love listening to rain on my roof, but I am not yet familiar with the dripping sounds. I'll get another chance to listen in the early morning.

I'm feeling drained but joyful, and extremely grateful but moving slowly through my to-do list. I did a multi-part ritual for Ostara and am excited that one of the seeds I planted sprouted two tiny leaves. The large pink candle is about to go out tonight, ending that spell.

Looks like Tuesday could be my departure date.
