March 6: Headed South

I spent the past two nights at Fort Anahuac Park, surrounded by water on three sides, buffeted by winds more hours than not. I am reading a book I'm reviewing for Pagan Pages and starting to put together a ritual for Ostara.

Tonight I am at a truck stop. I forgot how noisy they can be.

Until last night, I wasn't sure where I was going after tonight. Do I head north to Oregon? Or Michigan? Maybe cross the border into Mexico? I asked for a sign days ago and it came when a skoolie sister sent me links to the beaches she camped on two years ago. So I'll make my way another 350 miles south, and hitting the one beach I knew of, and ending up to around Corpus Cristi where I hope to spend as many weeks as possible beach bumming.
