DAY 259: What I Learned Today

> If I wake up too early in the morning (like 7am), don’t try to check my emails on the computer because I will fall back to sleep and the computer will slide off my belly and when it hits the floor, the screen will break.

> Don’t take a diuretic before setting out to drive 100 miles.

> It’s possible to drive toward my SC destination 500 miles away and find a place to park when I get tired without any pre-planning.

> Don’t expect the Garmin to take me the same route Google Maps chose.

> Don’t drive a bus in Washington D.C.

> Don’t expect every Target to have Rebel ice cream.

> Don’t be on the road during rush hour.

> When doing 42 in a 55mph zone, being nice and pulling over to let a couple of trucks go by means I’ll be sitting there while at least 20 cars behind them also go by. One of them will beep at me. (I still don’t know if that’s a thank you or a fuck you.)

> Tired, hungry and cranky wins over continuing driving to find a place to but ice to keep my food cold.
