DAY 292: Parties
With half a dozen loose teas gathered together during cleaning and reor ganizing the bus, and being told there were four French presses in the community kitchen, the idea for a tea party was born (yesterday, Monday, 11/16), leaving two hours until 4pm. Six gathered to sample five teas. The two most liked were both from Walk in the Woods: a special blend Rose mixed up for me and For Every Goddess. That lead to a spontaneous offer to make a dinner for all. Later came a sitting on the porch and a movie on the big screen. The day just flowed in and around those of us not quarantining for Covid. Many of us intended to move on and spend the interments in Florida or elsewhere, but looking at Covid out of control, some of us are considering spending the entire winter here. We “misfits” are bonding as a community. Life is good.
