DAY 382: Rain and More Rain

Unlike Nero, instead of fiddling while Rome burned, I snuggled in bed with Pye during a torrential rainstorm, all cozy  … as the two open windows with screens flooded counters and contents. I cleaned up the mess, ate a cold lunch and am ready to shut down power to conserve the 80% that’s left. It’s going to be steady rain and some thunder until evening, with showers then more thunderstorms tomorrow. A do nothing kind of day, despite having things to do.
