June 30, Wednesday: Angels Abound

Today had all the makings of a horrible day. But angels appeared to help meet my needs. The guard signaled the man in the golf cart to lead me to a spot and take me to the front door. So that was two. Then the next was the staff member who pointed me to my second appointment as being back down a long hallway, turn right, and go to the end of that very, very, long hallway. Angel#4 appeared as I came out of the pre-op appointment with an empty wheelchair; she took me back down that long, long hallway and around the corner to the central elevators and from there I made it out the door, where the Angel#2 took me back to my car. Little Angels#5&6 appeared at the driveway gate, two b  door as I was unloading the car of mail, hospital handouts, my purse and all that food and packing material. Hot, tired, frustrated, and sore, I gave up on dinner and grabbed two keto bars I’d just gotten from Amazon. They were sooooo hideous even the dogs who live here – who will eat snotty tissues – wouldn’t eat pieces of it. Angel#7 suggested I return them. I filled out the form selection the option that claimed there was a problem with the item’s description … because they were not edible as it claimed. Now I have to drive 23 miles to drop it off for a free return… and hopefully a full refund. Angel#8 was Murphy, the big goofy puppy who provided pet therapy to make up for eight puncture marks on my arm from Pye.
All of them conspired to support me. How can that add up to a bad day?
