July 10: What Comfortable Looks Like

This is what comfortable looks like tonight, the end of my third post op day from hip replacement surgery. I am more comfortable today than yesterday, but that was low bar. More swelling and bruising pain like that thigh was mangled. Still doing a lot of sleeping broken up by trips to the bathroom and kitchen. Buying prepared foods delivered to the door has been worth the many pennies. (Tried to find someone local first.) Doing my few exercises. Elevation and ice. Right now this is as good as it gets ... and it's only this good because of the loving,, healing energy sent by so many, some whom I will never meet. I give gratitude for you all. Healing is the only thing on my agenda.
