DAY 833 Memories
Today on Facebook, several memories popped up, and for once, I find myself willing to share images from days gone by.
In chronological order, there was the card I drew on November 5, 2008; the Bombay Sapphire martini, very dry, three olives, I enjoyed while watching a former co-worker perform at Mohegan Sun in 2013; the broom James Easton gave me in 2017 that is made from one piece of wood and hangs over my windshield; and Haley Billipp, the fourth generation to farm on the Eddy family’s homestead, who brought me a bouquet of flowers after allowing me to stay a night my first year out, in 2019.
Oh, but then I found more!! It was my last night in the area before leaving the state, and I had dinner with my daughter and my ex, then several friends came by the mall parking lot to say goodbye. Cindy made me these signs as a parting gift. (See Facebook post for more photos and captions.)
I will spend the rest of today chilling in 80-degree sunshine, writing book reviews, and trying again to bring some order to the boxes of “stuff” I don’t have a place for. Some clothes are listed on Postmark, where I will probably post a few other items. As I take photos, I’ll post them here to let you know what’s available and if you are interested we can work out something.
