DAY 618: Meeting Members of MyTraveling Tribe

I have been at a dog park beach in Tampa for a few days and will stay a few more. It’s nice not driving every day with diesel at $3.75 on a good day, $3.88 on a bad day. Been traveling with Michele and her two Yorkies. Last night I sat in her awesome Pinterest-perfect van and had the best Chinese food I’ve had since leaving Connecticut.

A shortie pulled in around dark and this morning, and this morning, the woman who showed us where to park returned and we spent hours hanging out. Four women. Four white vehicles. Four full-timers. Two cats, five dogs. It’s been a wonderful morning. A couple of Canada joined us for a while.

The sun peeked out twice for about five minutes each time, but it was enough to fully charge my battery. I can’t wait to take a shower. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day, but considering we were supposed to have sun Sunday afternoon and today, I don’t believe them.

Saturday night, some of the rowdy, drunken fucktards came to this end of the park and were banging on my door and my hood, and rocking the bus. I had just been drifting off to sleep. When it happened a second time, I called 911. By the time someone arrived, all was quiet.

Oh, a wannabe skoolie owner has joined our group, so I am signing off for now.
